*I stole this from :iconzambi:'s journal

*Why did you join this site?

To get proper critiques and feedback on my work to improve my skills. I was surprised by little of that there was and still is here.

*What does your username have to do with you? Is it a combination of your favorite things, or a character of yours?

It's just a play on the term "chubby cheeks"

*What is your current icon of?

My mascot Chibi Cheeks. I've never changed this avatar since joining.

*How many watchers do you have and how many people are you currently watching?

Huh. I only watch 98 people. I thought it was more than that. I just hate being overwhelmed by to many deviations to look through.

*Do you have more than one account?

Nope

*Name 3 of your favorite artists on DA

Just 3? :iconkaoru-chan: :iconpu-sama: :icongenzoman:

*What deviant do you admire because of their personality?

:iconnimbusthedragon: She is always so humble and genuinely grateful for her worshipers and comments. Her randomness cannot be beat too.

*How many people on here do you actually know in reality? Post their avatars.

:iconeternal-winggoddess: :iconnvrnrvland: :iconchristmas-chan:

Do people I've met once count?

*Do you comment, fave, or both?

Both

*What do you typically post on deviantart?

female characters and chibis

*Do you participate in clubs or contests here on DA?

Nah. No time.

*What is your most popular deviation?

Ugh. My Yue preview 2. It's not even complete. [link]

*What's your favorite submission in your favorites gallery?

Agh. There are so many. I tried picking just one but I couldn't do it.

*What are the things you wish you could draw better?

backgrounds, men, hands and shading

*Are you a subscriber?

I wish.

*How many hours a day do you spend on DA?

Typically just one or so but once I get my own computer that will change.

*Are you a fast, slow, or medium typer?

pretty fast.

*What is the most annoying thing people ask you?

I'm actually not popular enough to get so many comments they become annoying. I do wish people would comment on things they fave though.

What is the most annoying comment you get?

Same as above.

What inspires you?

other people's works and brainstorming

Do you use any traditional media?

Mechanical pencil, colored pencils and markers

Do you associate people online with their icons?

often

Have you ever suggested a Daily Deviation?

I didn't know we could.

Everyone has considered leaving DA once or twice. Have you? Why?

Never.

Got this from :icontheblindprophetess:'s journal. You just enter your name in the link at the bottom. Simple as that. It is surprisingly accurate.

There are 8 letters in your name.
Those 8 letters total to 43
There are 4 vowels and 4 consonants in your name.

What your first name means:
Greek Female Bobbin. Penelope was the faithful wife of Odysseus in Homer's Odyssey.
Gaelic Female Variant of Fenella: White shoulder. From Fionnghuala or Fionnuala.

Your number is: 7

The characteristics of #7 are: Analysis, understanding, knowledge, awareness, studious, meditating.

The expression or destiny for #7:
Thought, analysis, introspection, and seclusiveness are all characteristics of the expression number 7. The hallmark of the number 7 is a good mind, and especially good at searching out and finding the truth. You are so very capable of analyzing, judging and discriminating, that very little ever escapes your observation and deep understanding. You are the type of person that can really get involved in a search for wisdom or hidden truths, often becoming an authority on whatever it is your are focusing on. This can easily be of a technical or scientific nature, or it may be religious or occult, it matters very little, you pursue knowledge with the same sort of vigor. You can make a very fine teacher, or because of a natural inclination toward the spiritual, you may become deeply emerged in religious affairs or even psychic explorations. You tend to operate on a rather different wavelength, and many of your friends may not really know you very well. The positive aspects of the 7 expression are that you can be a true perfectionist in a very positive sense of the word. You are very logical, and usually employ a quite rational approach to most things you do. You can be so rational at times that you almost seem to lack emotion, and when you are faced with an emotional situation, you may have a bit of a problem coping with it. You have excellent capabilities to study and learn really deep and difficult subjects, and to search for hidden fundamentals. At full maturity you are likely to be a very peaceful and poised individual.

If there is an over supply of the number 7 in your makeup, the negative aspects of the number may be apparent. The chief negative of 7 relates to the limited degree of trust that you may have in people. A tendency to be highly introverted can make you a bit on the self-centered side, certainly very much self-contained . Because of this, you are not very adaptable, and you may tend to be overly critical and intolerant. You really like to work alone, at your own pace and in your own way. You neither show or understand emotions very well.

Your Soul Urge number is: 3

A Soul Urge number of 3 means:
With the Soul Urge number 3 your desire in life is personal expression, and generally enjoying life to its fullest. You want to participate in an active social life and enjoy a large circle of friends. You want to be in the limelight, expressing your artistic or intellectual talents. Word skills may be your thing; speaking, writing, acting, singing. In a positive sense, the 3 energy is friendly, outgoing and always very social.

You have a decidedly upbeat attitude that is rarely discouraged; a good mental and emotional balance.

The 3 Soul Urge gives intuitive insight, thus, very high creative and inspirational tendencies. The truly outstanding trait shown by the 3 Soul Urge is that of self-expression, regardless of the field of endeavor.

On the negative side, you may at times become too easygoing and too optimistic, tending to scatter forces and accomplish very little. Often, the excessive 3 energy produces non-stop talkers. Everyone has faults, but the 3 soul urge doesn't appreciate having these pointed out.

Your Inner Dream number is: 22

An Inner Dream number of 22 means:
You dream of being a master organizer and a builder of monumental projects; of guiding a truly huge endeavor. Your secret fantasy is to think big and imagine what could be done for the world. You may also dream of the huge rewards.

I find that my number 7 describes me almost perfectly while the other numbers seem only half true.

Now go and discover your numbers. [link]

Now that my report on AX is nice and irrelevant perhaps now would be a good time to announce -points to title-. Whose return is it you ask? It's someone who is very near and dear to me yet I have not submitted any art of her here in three years which is also the last time I drew her before today. Yes. My beloved original character Susaka is on her way back to Deviant Art very soon.

Due to reasons like no time, no Photoshop, my artistic attention diverted somewhere else or just no desire to draw at all my precious Susaka sat in a notebook since 06 hoping one day to be completed and to be brought back to life. Over the course of several months one drawing of her that I had done way back in 06 somehow got some love and attention and mostly completed for some time until it came time to color the dress. I just didn't have the right color. Anime Expo and the good people at the Copic booth came to my rescue and helped me pick the perfect color. I finished the drawing the other day and in that triumph and even with so many older drawings still to color I felt the need to create something new and in my newer style cuz let's face it three years is a long time to develop and change your drawing style.

Hopefully a lack of Copic colors won't slow me down too much so I can reveal her to everyone soon. Well. Back to work.

I FAIL!

Agh. I was supposed to do a full report on Anime Expo but keep putting it off as it seems like such a huge endeavor especially with all the pics involved. I think I'm frustrated the most about those darn pics that I cant even edit properly on this crap computer. I guess I'll just conduct my report without them and get back to you guys when I do have them up somewhere.

Day one involved much waiting in lines for hours outside. It was actually not that hot for a July day in souther California but when the sun beats down on unprotected skin of 20 something year olds who don't listen the their 30 year old friend some misery will befall those people. Not to mention uncomfortable shoes that make an outfit but really aren't suited for standing in one place for hours and hours. (Especially when the shoes are on the wrong feet. -coughrokshannacough-) But once we got inside, sat for a while and the splendor that is the JRock band Moi Dix Mois filled our weary and sun parched souls the pain of blisters and second degree burn was worth it.

We got up so late on day 2 there wasn't much time to do anything. We barely had enough time to do much in artist alley and the dealers hall. It was okay though since we still had 2 more days. Between that and the picture taking, mostly of my friend's brother who dressed as Master Roshi from the Dragon Ball series, there wasn't much else we did.

Stay tuned for the last 2 days of AX including getting stuck in the hotel elevator and how :iconeternal-winggoddess: and I won the greatest raffle ever.

Anime Expo 09 is over and now it's back to stupid reality. With so much to talk about and so many photos to go through (almost 500) it'll take quite sometime to put a journal all together so expect a full report this weekend.
